Do y'all wait weeks or months after purchasing kicks, in particular Jordan's, before you rock. Almost every pair of new release J's that I've bought in the last three years is still DS.
I’ve kept my 3’s, og 4 cements, and the concords on ice.
Only ones I decided to rock out of the box were the 13 He Got Games
I dunno breh… it really depends on my mood.
Usually, I break out everything first day and test them out in the gym (a little light lifting to sweat a break and do some elliptical to see how they perform on the toe flex level/cardio tip).
But I hate stocking shoes because they literally collect dustage. But what I do do with shoes I don't wear... I take 'em out the box (a few at a time) and just leave them out to look at while i'm listening to music, blogging/SOHH-ing or playing with my dog.
Most times, what I do with my shoes, either DS or worn, is that I go to sleep with them on the side of the bed... because i'm single now... they have become my new visual companion.
To me... this shiit is more than a hobby... it's a nostalgic artful experience. I can't say i'm a die hard shoe enthusiast... but I'll say I have been doing this for nearly 30 years now (starting with the Flight 89's that I even drew a picture of in 2nd grade for painting week... it was showcased on the first floor with all the other kids artwork and fellow pupils and faculty would always axe who did this... felt hella good. LOL!) and it's something i'll most notably take to the grave with me.
For the most part... i'll find a reason to wear my shiit, even though I don't have to wear dress shoes/boots to work... i'll switch it up when I feel like.
But the gym or going out on weekends... the new tennie shoes gets air time for weel for weel.

I still need to wear my Black/Metallic 5 from 2016
Depends on the kicks, I still have a few kicks from a few years back still on ice.
It depends on the pair. If it's what I consider a minor cop, something inexpensive and comfortable I'll wear them first day or after a few weeks. If it's a pair that I really love then I'll very rarely wear them and may not open the box for months or years.
I'm actually glad the black infrared 6s came back because I didn't wear the last release. I'm only just now starting to wear my 2014 pair.
I usually get my shyts days before they officially drop so I “have” to wear em when I get em lol
