Wore 07 aqua 8s today. Soles started coming off.

Have they? The 12s they are dropping have been the getting shyt on. I just wish these didn’t look so similar to the taupe haze

Yup. People were saying the mockup looked better and that it was AMM's first miss. The 12s have gotten it worse.

When did you start buying dunks, and what quality are you comparing to?Dunk prices high but the quality is still shyt.
Nike needs to fix their desktop app as that shyt has been spazzing out for a minute. It kept trying to get me to buy the 13’s instead of the 4’s

Been buying them since the 00s. Never had quality as bad as today's.
I ain't take many pictures, but this the worst pair I ever got. You can see how the paint on the soles was all fukked up. shyt also had scuff marks and glue all over. Took them shyts to the outlet immediately. No way a $130 shoe should have that many issues.
I have since 99/00 so you should know what I mean....Mid 2000 non SB were significantly worse than 2020s. The Jordan Dunks we're made with fukkin cardboard. Leather quality was disgustingly bad for all dunks other than Nike SB THEN. B grade dunks were so prevalent people just waited for them to hit outlets, even SBs for that. Not even gonna mention Journeys / Pac Sun dunks and 6.0s which were absolutely terrible quality.Been buying them since the 00s. Never had quality as bad as today's.

Today's GR (as general as those releases get) dunks are better quality than mid 00s for sure.
I still gotta couple pairs of 00s dunks at the house. My true blue dunks is beater status, but it ain't nothing wrong with them outside of being dirty. I never had problems with paint on the soles back then. I'm not talking about the leather quality, I'm talking the quality overall. And it's Nike period. I done bought jays and forces with hella imperfections over the past year. These shyts should not be passing QC.
