I'll never understand it from a business perspective. This is an iconic shoe. It's going to sell out no matter how many pairs they produce. I wonder if this is a sign of things to come this year since it's LOADED with OG releases.

At a $250 price point, that shoe would be sitting as a GR and their outlets and even they know that.
Yes, All you have to do is google Nike and scarcity. They built their empire on scarcity. This is not a unique business concept. When products don’t move then you create scarcity to create growth.

It's a mass produced factory reproduction ... Of a mass produced factory shoe
Just buy the "fakes" that were made across the street from the real factory

SNS filing for bankruptcy shouldn't be surprising as I knew something was up with that 50% off sale had been going on for a long while now. A lot of those sneaker companies expanding during the sneaker boom and now it's all coming back to haunt them.
If a major company like SNS is struggling, I'd imagine the other big names are as well. Even resell sites like StockX are now resorting to taking allowing sales on random ass items just to help stay alive.

A while back I was in Shoe Carnival killing time waiting for someone to text me. Tried on different shoes.
Puma Softride Frequency is insanely bouncy. If you like walking/running shoes with hella bounce, pick these up.
I didn't get them that day, the only color they had was white and cream. I got an all black pair from Amazon for like $80, gonna use them exclusively to walk in.
