They were videotaping practices because they videotaped the Rams who implemented new formations and the cheaters knew the damn play and formation.
That was shown to be a lie by a disgruntled employee. And even if the employee wasn't lying,
the Rams are on record as saying they only walked through red zone plays during that practice. The only 2 times the Rams made it to the red zone during the SB they scored TDs, so whatever the Patriots learned by taping (refuted of course) obviously didn’t work.
Eagles players stated that they knew every play coming on offense when McNabb lined up in the second half and probably no telling what else they had done.
The Patriots couldn't have possibly had videotape on the Panthers for that Super Bowl, never mind the Eagles. As a matter of fact, the other Super Bowls (after the Rams) were won without tape. Look, the last time the Patriots played the Panthers, for instance, was when George Seifert was still the coach. The Patriots had no tape on the Panthers. And even if the Patriots had tape on the Panthers (i.e., if someone sent them the coaches’ tape of prior games, in which you can see the signals on the sidelines), coaches can steal signals that way. But it’s a pain in the ass because coaches would have to then sync them up with the time of the play. This is why it’s better to tape signals by devoting a camera to it, so that the signals relate to the play and the time in the game.
As for the Eagles' gripes, it's going to take more than Donovan McNabb's and the rest of the Eagle roster's word to prove that the Patriots cheated in that Super Bowl. Crying about the Patriots knowing every play on offense doesn't prove that the Patriots cheated. Who's to say that Belichick and co. didn't study and practice against all of the Eagles' formations, play packages, etc. leading up to the Super Bowl. McNabb and the Eagles are still butt-hurt over losing the Super Bowl.
Who else comes up with bullshyt formations to get over with inelgible receiver shyt.
