NFL literally spent millions of dollars and hired the same company Big Tobacco hired (Exponent) to argue that second hand smoke is safe, to provide 'facts' that Brady deflated footballs. And when Brady won the appeal against the NFL because of the bogus claims, the NFL took him to the 2nd circuit not to argue that the 'facts' provided by Exponent were true, but that they had the rights to suspend any player they wanted to because of the CBA.

If the NFL really loves Brady like people think they do, they wouldn't have leaked all those wildly inaccurate claims during deflategate, went through all those lengths to suspend him. They would have treated that like when Peyton got caught with HGH, brushed it aside, and protected his image.

They did that to protect Beli and the integrity of the game. They thought he was on his way out but coaches can never be in question cause that's really a unfair advantage. Brady was collateral damage.

Breh got a penalty for responding to something so disrespectful that the Super Bowl mvp felt the need to apologize the next day.

what are y’all doing:wtf:
The penalty was whack as hell. But I’m a fan of trash talk and passion. You’ll never see me getting on ANY player for trash talk if they backing it up. I also respect greatness.

My team is probably the biggest trash talkers/showboaters in the league and we haven’t won shyt so I’m not going to pretend to be outraged when other players/team do it.

Hell I’ve cheered on CGJ all season and I know he’s likely said worse things. Sorry if that doesn’t fit the narrative

Brady is definitely hated but he is 100% guilty of that deflategate shyt based only on the texts and testimony of the equipment manager.

The fact that Pats fans still blame the cold weather is just silly seeing as how football gets played in colder weather hundreds of times every single year and the ball never changes shape or size. We have all played a sport in the cold before and not once has it ever caused the ball to deflate

Thats all I gotta say

The football didn't change shape or size :dead:

Air pressure changes when it's cold. Several scientists have argued defending Brady and how ball pressure changes from being inside locker rooms to the outside.

What really happened during Deflategate? Five years later, the NFL's 'scandal' aged poorly

And when an MIT professor explained that weather conditions could do the same thing, based on the ideal gas law, who could argue? The NFL wouldn't have known either way, because it did not regularly record pounds-per-square-inch readings to that point. For all we know, football deflation occurred naturally every week.

That poster is clueless.

Say what you want about spy-gate, but "deflate-gate" was the biggest sham I've seen in sports. Absolutely ridiculous.

:comeon:The shape and size of a football is determined by the air pressure...that was the whole point of the "scandal".

If the pressure in a ball was significantly impacted by the weather we would hear about it every winter cuz it would impact throwing and catching...

That poster is clueless.

Equipment Manager: "Hey Tom I deflated the balls like you asked"
Tom: "Thank you for deflating the balls like I asked, I'll give you a free jersey"
NFL: "Thats illegal"
Tom: "Destroys cell phone"

Yeah a total sham...

Deflategate was so fukking stupid:snoop:. Switched the ball at halftime and we proceeded to curbstop the colts even worse. Alltime scandal reach
