Yeah I used to use one of those with just tap water. Did it for a couple years....good thing I didnt catch anything.

Now I wont even use boiled tap water....I go to the store and buy distilled water.

There's a bunch of cases of people dying from them after getting them from swimming pools. Google it. I don't know the breakdown of how many of these pools were treated or not and if treating even reliably eliminates them all the time.
