So I rolled up to a whataburger near my university with a group of friends last night, and our group is pretty mixed. There's two brothas (myself included), two white dudes, and a Japanese/Chinese dude who clearly looks it. We're all fairly down with each other and are basically like any other group of brehs you'll find at a mixed uni, so not like we go around on some racial tension shyt or anything.

So after ordering and all that, the Asian dude gets up to go get soda, and he passes by a table of hispanic dudes in mid to early twenties, and when breh walks by, they start dropping a bunch of low-key racial jokes on lil breh, shyt that would have a goon nikka ready to catch a couple bodies quick if tables were turned. So lil breh, who's far from the confrontational type, and def doesnt look it, just brushes it off and keeps walkin, and I'm just there like the fukk a couple cholo lookin dudes tryna drop 'chink' jokes for when they prob have cacs callin em wetbacks and beaners and shyt when they turn their backs. I know its not just something hispanics do, but still, TF? That shyt just doesnt compute when you witness it in action.

Highly doubt that would have been case, but if nothing else, informing your boys what was going on and calling attention to it would have been something.
Not sure what constitutes as a friend for some, but the couple of guys I call friends are for all intents & purposes more like my brothers.
Not mad at you for wanting to avoid an altercation but I definitely think you guys should have said something if he was your boy, especially if they were tossing out chink.

I've only met 1 Mexican in my whole life... we don't got that many mexicans in Florida. nikka was bout 6'2 in the 7th Grade .

damn breh growing up in georgia i knew soooooooo many mexicans. literally all my classes were majority mexican or hispanic until i moved back to wisconsin. but yeah know the difference between mexicans and cholos. but all cholos aint bad of course i had hella cholo homies as well
