The thing with me is, while do have a fairly muscular build, I'm not really lean. And because of that slim fit is a really awkward fit for me and I usually have to go up a size, then you have the problem of the back of the shirt flaring up like a fukking dress.
Get an athletic-cut shirt.
Getting a slim fit (regular chest with narrow waist) shirt is not as tapered as an athletic-cut (wider chest and narrow waist).

Nice. Haven't really heard of many brands with this type of fit before though lol. Any in particular?

Like the guy said earlier, check out Club Room. I was really surprised by the quality on them, especially for 30-40 bucks. My only gripe was with the lack of variety in colors/patterns, but maybe that was just my store.

For sure. I go to school in a small town in Iowa aka the middle of no-where, so any time I want to get any legitimate clothes shopping done that isn't online I need to wait until I take a trip out to the Chi.

Maybe I'll try and layover there on my way to Egypt this summer, pick up all those light summer shades before I touch down. :blessed:

I like the fit of Hickey Freeman, and the casual zegna line is good as well. Takes a bit of effort but you can find lots in the 50$ range.

Just got a few of their formal shirts for work...they're great.

The casual button down I got from CT was kinda baggy though :yeshrug:
yea, if you're looking for some more casual button joints, check john varvatos and bonobos

All depends on your build. I got broad shoulders so Ralph works for me. I have to size down on Brooks brothers, but love the material of their shirts. The designs are also nice and simple. Ralph + Brooks Brothers for dress shirts or casual button ups. Express tome is garbage. Slim cut is for extra skinny 5'5 asian nikkaz with bird chests.

Banana Republic tailored slim and slim fit. JCrew's slim fit oxfords.

I'm a creature of habit. I know those 3 fits at those 2 stores fit me in a large. So that let's me walk in and shop without any hassle. Most of the time I don't have to try anything on.
