I think they could write her a decent role as Cody's wife without her getting physically involved much. I buy that they're a happily married, close couple, and she can act it seems.

People have called Brandi the “Black Stephanie McMahon”, and though that does have merit, it doesn’t here. She’s actually self-aware instead of being totally tone-deaf . It wasn’t getting over like it was supposed to, plus the person it’s centered around isn’t was they were in the early 10s. Mel is fukking awful though and Luther was irrelevant. Just act like they never existed and move on. There’s enough cult type stables in AEW anyway.

The last match I had seen from Kong before this AEW run was 2015 BFG with Gail Kim and she couldn't do ANYTHING in that match. Couldn't bump, couldn't move, moved like she had a completely destroyed back. It was not a surprise that she could no longer work.

I don't know how many of y'all watch GLOW, but Kong's character is literally going through the same thing she's going through in real life now. Her body is breaking down and she can't wrestle anymore

She's actually a really good actress from what I've seen on GLOW, and I hope she pursues more acting roles. If you didn't know who she was, you'd never know she was arguably the best women's wrestler in the world for a period of time.
