Nah, we're not going to repeat, but we should be contenders.

First of all, I should have been the first one @'ed :birdman: Second of all, where is Kinston anyway?

We're not actively recruiting him. We have a lot of bigs as it is. Coach K is going to leave the rest of our open schollies for Giles, Tatum and Smith.

:snoop: Roy Williams is going to be on a fiery hot seat if they don't win it all/at least make the final four

I can't imagine how good a sophomore thornton and sophomore ingram would be. Would you rather have a sophmore thornton and a freshman Tyus Battle, or a freshman Dennis Smith? Because if no one leaves (unlikely to happen) We don't have space for Dennis and Tyus both.

What's that come from? I saw that in someone's sig once.
kinston is a high school in NC which often produces top tier talent for, at least in the past, what always seemed to be UNC. Reggie Bullock comes to mind and there's been a few others as well. Ingram has been wanting to Duke though and obv winning an NT didn't hurt but the only reason he hasn't signed is because his stock is on the rise so he just want to make sure to weigh all the options.

you're hopeful now but only setting yourself up for disappointment.
when giles, tatum and smith come in that package deal to Duke, you and the rest of chapel hill gonna commit that on sight :damn:and roy gonna get his walking papers finally... :lolbron:and getting Mickey D boys don't matter when you can't put use them properly and allow them to get to the league quickly. who's the last top player that roy put in the league after his freshman year? marvin williams, who roy tried his best to hide all season. man...just admit that roy ain't put a top tier frosh in the league in a long ass time and on another note, who's the last UNC player to go into the league and be an all-star? vince carter? antawn jamison? :heh::heh::heh: UNC is the so lauded for their college b-ball tradition yet they ain't put a player in the league that became an NBA all-star since 1998. once again. :heh:

and maker's body and lack of confidence/strength is alarming. he doesn't know what he wants to be on the court and his lack of strength makes him a project for anyone that takes him. plus I doubt he's cleared to play in college. dude has been in like 4 different countries for each of his high school years and I don't see his transcripts ever being approved by the NCAA.

You got the hustle backwards.....Roy is a college coach who gets the most flack for "just rolling the ball" out. He has 2 chips since arriving to Chapel Hill. That's his job. Cal has morphed your thinking to the point the ultimate win as a college coach is getting the #1 class and have them leave in a year. That would be a nice class for Duke if they land that package deal.....but there is no shame in UNC landing Seventh, Bam, and Bradley in '16. UNC is about to be no worse than #3 in preseason rankings and you keep trying to sell Roy as a failure when that's not true. if you wanna simply go with K being better than Roy, fine....but there's no shame in how Roy runs his program.

its deep for your usual Duke team, 7 guys in the ro with Plumlee adding goon mins. thats pretty much what all of K's best teams look like

Jefferson defends the 4 well, him and Jeter in the FC, Ingram on the wing with Allen and Thornton. Jones and Kennard off the bench, its a nice group

i dont get why UNC is 1 or 2 on these early top 25's either, they add nothing to a solid team that made the sweet. im sure Jackson will develop, but i dont see a title team per se

People are assuming that next season is a down year for college basketball, and UNC, being one of the few veteran teams, is the presumptive favorite.

I'm calling it now. That squad isn't winning shyt...

Also Sean Obi gonna be in there. 6 9, 270 averaged 11 and 9 his freshman year. After a year of practicing with Duke I'd only expect improvement. Gonna be a pretty deep squad :ehh:

You know that you're desperate when you point to disappointments like barnes and lucky scrubs like green to claim success for your fav. college team. Barnes being such a flop is the reason yall can't get top 5 players...

keep bragging about danny green getting a ring though that will get kids to come to UNC. :pachaha:
