His rebounding did not go away in the playoffs. Compare his per 36 numbers and the rebounding numbers are pretty damn similar. Add in that in some series especially with the Pistons they'd throw him on perimeter players. Add in that the Pistons and Bulls were blowing out a lot of teams and it leads to less minutes played. With a much smaller sample size it can throw off the per game stats.

If Rodman played in this era, he would develop an OK 3pt shot. He was not required to shoot a damn three in his days. He played defense, rebounded and he was one of the best ever at that.
