Marshall is an awesome teammate from everything I've seen. Even with the the Jets awful qb play recently he never trashed them and always supported the qb in the media.

I don't think they need to worry about him in that way.

This is a really good signing to me, completely reasonable money as well

Everyone saw that Fitz was playing like shyt in camp, the worst not named Hackenberg, and Brandon was selfishly riding for him, even after he kept stinking up the joint. Its why he and Sheldon got into it because many of the players weren't feeling Fitz while BM was wearing Fitz 2.0 t shirts after his poor performances. It caused a rift in the locker room because Marshall was riding for his boy while the young players were being short changed by the qb he was riding for.

At the end of the day he didn't throw anybody under the bus and supported the starter. Even when Geno got put in, he was talking about Geno'so talent and how much Geno had matured and grown leading in to that start.

we got the 22nd pick, remember we lost the 4th over that walkie talkie bullshyt in the dallas game.

i mixed about what we should do in the 1st round. if a TE like njoku or OJ howard is available, get em and get a OL in the 2nd and 3rd. there's about 2-3, some scouts think are worth 1 round picks other than that, wait until 3 round and later.

Anyway, Marshall is genuinely excited to see Smith return.

"When you get crushed, especially in [the New York] market, we take it personal," Marshall said. "I think that's why I love, and so many guys love, playing with him is because he's competitive. Now he's doing a great job learning how to control that."


According to Marshall, Smith does just fine on the football field; it's the off-the-field stuff that hurts him.

"The thing Geno needed to learn is not anything to do with football," Marshall said. "It's about coming to work every day and being consistent. I think the person who benefited the most from this last year and a half is Geno. It has been amazing to see this guy grow
