Just finished watching the link OP provided.
Even fukking Brock was on some You could tell that they wanted him cut his own promo, and the best he could come up with is, "Beastie Boy" and a bunch of WWE-provided catchphrases (Monster among Men, Get These Hands). I know that people give shyt to the writers, but lol, some of these guys DO need to be scripted because you could tell they simps in real life. Braun at the end of the day is just some power-lifter. Probably never been in a real fight or knows what to say when confronted as such.

Watching this was so fukking embarrassing. WWE neutered Braun a long fukking time ago. He was ALWAYS limited. But they kept the fukkery to a maximum, and booked him simply, and efficiently. Braun was always an exception to WWE's terrible, inconsistent booking. It was almost Heyman-esque. And then...well his scripting fell in line with everything else on Raw.

I think right around the time that Brock made him look like light work I knew something was amiss. And it immediately killed his aura. Then he became too reliant on Get These Hands, the heel turn happened out of nowhere, they turned him back just as abruptly and it sucked 75% of the fukks given about him out of ppl.

I'm not entirely sure he can be resuscitated. They should have struck while the iron was hot. You could have had him get the Fruit By The Foot belt off Brock and look strong, and then drop it back to him via fukkery, or just have it be a savage battle or something that Brock ends up winning.

But they didn't. And then they killed him. And now I don't wanna ever see him win the belt. My interest is done, and I actually don't even buy him beating Brock after Brock handled him the way he did.
