Yea because no one can find content unless its posted on the coliIt should be a ban on posting black on black violence on this site.
What does it accomplish? Absolutely nothing.
Just fuel for all the racist lurkers.

Halfsmoke is opening a location on Minnesota Ave I believeIt is. Most establishments that like to host Trap brunches with a live DJ tend to be Black-owned.
Swahili Village is fire tooI know. I was replying to breh who said there arent any BLACK OWNED upscale brunch spots in the city.
SIDEBAR: there’s a spot off K St that does West African/Soul food fusion. the place is phenomenal! https://instagram.com/moimoi_dc?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y=
Food is aight, nothing to write home about. You’re better off going to busboysHow is Ben’s Next Door? It always looks like a vibe inside whenever I walk past it whenever I’m chillin around U Street. They stay playing some dope ass music too, S/O to them for having a nice playlist or DJ on deck.
check out Mr Braxtons too. Small joint but they’re blowing up. Nice chill vibe & hella hoesCan’t ever get a seat in there for Brunch smh

I’ll put it on my listcheck out Mr Braxtons too. Small joint but they’re blowing up. Nice chill vibe & hella hoes

Yea slight tangent but I say this all the time about Dc: almost all of the new big money gentrified neighborhoods are built over former black club hot spots. Dc wharf- H20/Zanzibar. Ivy city- Love. NoMa- Ibiza. Union market- can’t rembember the club name.Hoodrat behavior and antics
I remember that big brunch brawl that happened on U Street (which is literally the next neighborhood over from Florida Ave) back in 2019. Don’t be surprised if some of these Black-owned brunch spots start issuing a Turkey Leg Hut policy on the masses no thanks to classless bammas like in the video smdh.
This was very entertainingBig man on a mission at the 35 sec mark is one of the funniest I've seen in a long time![]()

Blame the city for criminalizing the businesses. Obvious systemic racism and collusion going on.Yea slight tangent but I say this all the time about Dc: almost all of the new big money gentrified neighborhoods are built over former black club hot spots. In all those cases the exact same thing happened: fights/stabbing/shootings closed the club…spots get their license revoked…developers can then legally move in and take the landand ffwd it’s a new area. It’s a major jack move
In this case, ironically this spot is RIGHT at the intersection of where white dc residents tried to remove goGo bands from playing outside , so they can whitewash the area some more. This one event won’t hurt things and it’s not a club, but it’s pretty prophetic and they are now on notice
Nah. The business criminalized the business. If people die or get stabbed at your establishment you have no say on the matter. Developers pounced on a situation yes, but they didnt put any guns or knives in mfers hands.Blame the city for criminalizing the businesses. Obvious systemic racism and collusion going on.
They were constructing mimosas though. That don’t count?
Not sure why but this is funny to me. Bc it’s true. Black owners love to infuse everything with trap shyt. Ie all the IG soul food spots serve ghettofied goods. Henny infused jerk wings…casa Migos chicken fingers…duesse chicken n wafflesIt is. Most establishments that like to host Trap brunches with a live DJ tend to be Black-owned.
