Again more labels, irrelevant talking points and merit-less accusations to steer the convo in a direction that will allow you to manipulate the reader because you're more concerned with creative ways of being disagreeable and criticalYou know, I don't mind everything Bolsonaro does (I support the loosening of gun ownership rules for example) but it is always entertaining when his supporters cry "fake news or "identify politics" as if saintly Jair is above all such things. If you think identity politics, especially towards evangelicals and certain parts of Brazil's population, isn't Bolsonaro's bread and butter I really can't say much here.
The whole point of tweeting that video was to cue outrage and emotion amongst his base. We have a long history of evangelical moral crusades in the US which is why we are supreme skeptical of comments like this. They always only come for certain types of "bad" people. That was the point of my comment to be clear.
How could you free yourself from the burden of upholding different and often conflicting narratives, you ask?
I've been blessed to be raised around folks that don't allow the use of legit plights/arguments as crutches for blindly supporting or criticizing anyone/anythingAll of this is solved if we abandon identity politics, only be loyal to seeking and spreading truths
If you can't give credit for truths without feeling the need to indirectly discredit the source...then it was never about that truth and solving a problem, it was all about you
if I'm a "supporter" because I disagree with calling him a fascist for rightfully criticizing those attention whores, then you're his supporter, advocate, and apologist for agreeing with an actual policy
