I always been on record saying that there is a built in accountability system for comedians that already works.

This is the slippery slope of that kinda law, because the way it was explained to me, I asked "So if an Afro Brazilian says something about White Brazilians, i.e. White folks can't cook, do evil things, etc etc. And the White Brazilian is offended and feels this is racism, does the Afro Brazilian get punished?" ,and they were hush lol. I would assume a Malcolm X type would be jailed under these laws due to the interpretation aspect, as it seems many people are saying "wow I didnt know what I said was considered racist, sorry" when they have to appear in court

"Racism" is "Illegal" in Brazil, while being one of the most racist places in this part of the world lol.

The issue there is nobody wants to discuss the real issues, so the banning of the speech is a performative band aid, while the systematic issues remain. Sure its better than nothing but I rather deal with Racist speech then unchecked systematic issues.
