Religious fundamentalists are a scourge no matter the religion.
What else is there to take over? Outside of places like Louisiana, Florida, and New York ain't nobody really practicing African religions in mass.
It's a growing Muslim population I think though in this country. Also a increase in people in "non-religious" and atheists so maybe you're on to something.
