The amount of cash Apple hoard should put them on any list where you are criticizing capitalism this way.
He says he's not. He's suggesting it FOR capitalism. Having 'competitive markets' is part of the definition of capitalism. And really Apple doesn't dominate one market like the others do.

Video was dope, crazy seeing how little taxes big corporations pay.....
Just further drives home the point that everyone hates paying taxes, even corporations. Just like everyone lies on their taxes as well. :yeshrug:
With that said, I think the American / World economy is in danger if these big four continue on their path of consumption.
Large monopolies aren't good for the United States.
Think of it like this, eventually monopolies get so big, that there's no variation. When there's no variation, that's because there's no competition and when there's no competition guess what that system in place is called?
communism....
are you going actually comment?

In my opinion the corporation and its only aim being, 'to increase shareholder revenue' is bringing the world to ruin.

**subs for later

However, this statement is something I've been mulling over lately. When Kimberly-Clark posts profits of $3.3 BILLION in 2017 (!!!) and then uses the new reduced tax structure to pay for laying off 5,000+ employees, something is really wrong.

In previous decades if you got too big in your market the government would break your company up (i.e. Bell telephone co.1970s/80s) or if you had new technology you owned the patent to that creates a market you had to eventually share it (i.e. Xerox 1970s). The latest monopoly case was Microsoft in the 1990s and they appealed the initial decision by the courts and won. They we're never broken up. Is the government now so beholden to corporations they would never file an anti-trust lawsuit against an existing company or nah? They prevent mergers but they don't seem be able to stomach a fight against a company that just came up on its own in my opinion.

The American people don't want it

They're all still firmly entrenched in the belief that they will all become billionaires and they don't want anything to hinder that even if it kills them and their loved ones slowly over time, and destroys the very lands they claim to love.

This is why they voted for a man who cuts taxes for the rich :blessed:

Facebook and Google aren't there yet but, they're bordering on becoming monopolies. Amazon definitely needs to be broken up.
