When I first heard about this I was in tears about how incompetent you'd have to be to not hear power tools being used in a cell. They had to have had help from a guard or something, even if there was construction going on to mask the sound of what they were doing (apparently this is what happened). I'm gonna take a shot in the dark and say it was a female 
Im sure they'll be apprehended peacefully, while these pigs out here barrel rolling and pulling gins out on kids treating them like hardened criminals. Hopefully these guys find some weapons and take out some pigs if they get caught. A nice shoot out with a couple of dead white bodies in uniform would go a long way in improving my week. And i never really wish death on anyone white or otherwise but im really starting not to give a fukk anymore

can't see anyone or contact anybody you care about but these guys probably don't care. Best believe they are monitoring anyone they could be in contact with.

I was in one. You guys don't realize just how fukking lazy these people are. their 8 hour shifts are spent locked up in the "bubble". Its staffed with a handful of COs per housing unit which only come on deck for a head count or mail call. The COs running the kitchen. The law library is usually staffed with civilians mostly with the exception of a CO or two on each floor if their multiples (like hall monitors, really). The commissary is civilians, barbershop usually has one officer as does the laundry room. The dispensary (hospital) is all civilians with one CO at entry. The administration building that has receiving and nikkas in the hole/segregation is the most guarded place due to the influx/outflux of new and problematic inmates.
Outside of that, theres really only the gun towers but if youre in sewage pipes, its moot. If this pipe was anywhere near the laundry building, you wouldn't hear the power saw because of all the noise up top. Couple that with someone mentioning construction was on going and its entirely possible. The problem is the state wants free labor. Its like slavery in the sense of one overseer watching all the black families do all the work.They get that labor from the inmates. More guys are in prison with college education or trade certificates and the Industrial Prison Complex sees it as something to take advantage of for free labor. Guys are getting paid like $1 an hour to do work that contractors get $80,000/yr or more for. Thats likely how they got access to powertools.
Getting out of prison isn't as hard as people think it is. Its not getting caught after you do it. You could break out and get caught 10min later if you dodged the gun tower. Thats what keeps nikkas from even attempting it. The system is not the best at keeping nikkas in, but it is particularly good at making sure nikkas are accounted for which is the biggest deterrent.
