We had plenty of shootings before Columbine but they were before the 24 hours news culture. Angry shooters would just be tossed in mental wards and everyone washed their hands of it and didn't speak on it much again except in certain circles.

Cacs gonna cac but the media does have an impact on how frequent they been happening. Back in the day they would just merk there family and call it a day now they want fame. Columbine tv coverage really did kick this wave off.

I think the media plays a part in a lot of propaganda but I'd like to see a study that tracks how significant the media is in these shootings. I don't care for the "blame the media" talking point when these shootings happen cuz most of the time, its a deflect tactic used by cacs.

The media is quick to throw a nikkas mugshot and entire family tree on the news if he jaywalks, so why not show these devils face when they commit these shootings?
