Folks thought they had a hack to get around those daytime minutes. :lolbron:
I had Cingular w/rollover. Nights started at 7pm instead of 9pm like everyone else too. I would upgrade one month to the 3000min plan, hardly use it, let it rollover then downgrade to the 700min plan and have my 3K min banked as a "just in case" for daytime overage. Had that shyt down to a science. :blessed:
damn, i had the 7pm evenings too since my mom had been a customer so long, and rollover and mobile to mobile mins was a lifesaver...i never called friends on sprint or verizon during the week lol

I think that the main purpose is to stop people from canceling Prime so frequently, and the secondarily, it's a deeper level of data for Amazon to tie to your profile. Aint no money in cell phones like that anymore. Just read an article that also hinted at that being an improbable reason for Amazon to get involved. Cell phone plans have been a race to the bottom ever since T-Mobile started switching things up 5-10 years ago.

Amazon are going to rent out spectrum from the big phone companies, and sell it for the low just like MNVO's (Mint Mobile/Boost Mobile/etc) already do. If I was AT&T or Verizon, I would turn them down. The more customers that realize that 99% of the time, there's no difference between post-paid (plans thru Verizon/AT&T) and prepaid MNVO plans (plans thru companies leasing bandwidth from Verizon/AT&T), the more it's gonna eat into the big companies' pockets. People won't take a chance on Boost Mobile to save $$$, but they'll take a chance on Amazon

EDIT: Did some more research, and Amazon might be partnering up w/ Dish, who will be the new kid on the block when it comes to mobile spectrum. They are playing disruptor. It's gonna shake up the mobile industry a lot potentially. No wonder all the other providers were down a lot today.

:wow: $8 a month in 2023. I’m surprised they haven’t kicked you off that or force you to use a flip phone

Swear to God though lmaooo. I don't even have access to that student email anymore either.

Shame Spotify kicks you off that student plan with Hulu for $5 after 4 years smh

Got damn. We already knew Amazon wasn’t fukking around but they trying to have their hands in every industry in existence
:damn:
I had a conversation with a coworker today about how evil Amazon is, but the services they offer are completely unmatched. I even mention that I’m scaling up My skills so that I can move into the cloud someday soon. Amazon is going to be feeding me. :damn: They are the best at taking over everything.
