Never heard of The Sequence. I’m surprised to see black social media spaces talk about how much they loved that group and how they still listen to them. Then I check the numbers and those songs have 2000 spins total. :stopitslime:

I never heard of them either before this and it is kind of bothering me that all these people who love talk about keeping the history alive and keeping the culture alive never mentioned it like they should have.

Man this is a joint right here and the kind of early 90s soul/R&B that reminded you of Soul II Soul or Loose Ends that was a group effort of vocals and production.

Angie had so many pivots in her career before she went solo and it’s wild that her stint as a soloist was like her 3rd-4th dive in the industry. The game didn’t always appreciate her but she always knew she could write great songs.
First time I heard that cut, I thought it was Loose Ends. I was like “Loose Ends got some new shyt out :ehh:“.
