All guns are legal until the are illegal. There has to be punishment if you don't lock up your guns, they get stolen, and they are used in a crime. Like 20 years in prison. That would make you think twice about not locking up your guns.

If a law is passed that states owning an illegal gun will land you in jail for 20 years it will help the people who are for the prison industrial complex.

The media focus on things that doesn't matter when it comes to this gun control debate. They should change who they're targeting . Go after the manufacturers, not the owners. The manufacturers are letting these weapons slip through the cracks and lobby against the people who own the guns.
