On a side note..once Andrew Zimmern started doing bizarre foods in the US...shyt lost it’s soul and culture...he used to be in the trenches, now he be talking to pretentious cac chefs sprinkling duck sperm on asparagus and shyt like that :francis:

I remember when he visited Queens for an episode of Parts Unknown. Dude ate at an African restaurant around my area that has been there for years but I never thought to eat there until I saw the episode. Been a regular ever since :feedme:

I tell cats the mere fact that he did an ep in the Mississippi Delta, of all places.... that's some next level shyt :mjcry:

On a queue
Society needs to do some soul searching and ask why people are so unhappy
"Died of suicide" should read "commited suicide"
They need to stop cuddling people and really focus on why white people who have all these advantages in a systematic white supremacy world, kill themselves at more than 4x times the rate of black people.

Alot of smiling on the outside, dying on the inside going on in the white community, but if you let the Coli tell it...."They got everything on lock"

...”The piece focused on Bourdain’s “no white people” policy for the Houston episode of ‘Parts Unknown’...”

“Yesterday, PaperCity published a piece by writer Chris Baldwin that made note of a February profile in the New Yorker in which Bourdain said that he had “banned white people” from the Houston episode of CNN’s Parts Unknown.”

“...none of the city’s celebrity chefs even sniffed a bit of air time. It turns out most of them never had a chance to get on. Foodie power players such as Chris Shepherd, Bryan Caswell and Ronnie Killen were out from the moment Bourdain issued his “no white people” command.”

I think I seen a clip or photo where he was out there eating BBQ with Slim Thug and couple others.

Holy shyt, talk about unexpected

RIP to this man

We only see 1% of people’s lives and assume they are happy.

As a society period we have ‘grass is greener’ syndrome. This is worsened by this new need for confirmation by social media.

Imagine: someone has NO family, was raised in the foster system, has a drug issue and no luck in love ever.. all of a sudden a ‘dream job’ is ‘just a job that yes makes a lot of money but doesn’t help with feeling like part of a family or being in love and sharing experiences’.

We sit in our glass houses with rocks in our hands but act like only other people have problems that can push them over the edge

We may be lucky and have a support system, but just because someone is known doesn’t mean they have that luxury too

Recently saw one of his books in a store.. sad situation..
