You seriously believe the race of the remake's cast is somehow tied to their disbelief/discomfort in the concept of a white guy taking over the drug trade in Mexico? Like Sony/AMC would seriously sign off on a remake based on this? "Mexicans are mad they aren't being repped in the drug trade properly, let's help them out".

Now that you (hopefully) understand that, the reason the new cast is all Mexican IS BECAUSE IT'S A REMAKE FOR THE LATIN AMERICAN MARKETS.

You know, how the entire cast of the U.S. version of "The Office" is American, because it's for the American market.

Let me guess, you think America caught feelings over England not repping offices right, and that's why they remade it with all Americans, huh? Because that's the kind of dumb ass logic you're using.

I've never met one Latin American cat that had any kind of problem with "Breaking Bad". Why are you catching feelings on the behalf of Spanish people and trying to put words in their mouths?

Oh yeah I forgot to mention the Blu-Ray/DVD for the first 8 eps comes out June 5th and will feature a brand new 8 minute scene that ties the first 8 eps in with the last 8 eps. It takes place during "Gliding Over All", the finale last year, before Walt goes to see Jesse with the $5 mill.

So let me get this straight the people spending millions of dollars promoting this show believe they NEED TO CAST A WHOLE NEW CREW INSTEAD VOICE OVERS because it would probably =more views, which=more cash from their target audience. NOT CHANGE THE SCRIPT, OR LOCATION BUT THE ACTUAL RACE This is their thought to capture a certain audience. But you the for everything believe that its just a language thing? a comfort thing millions? when you can pay probably 100k for voice overs if that and use the original show? But at the same time to all the people you know it makes absolutely no difference the race so why change anything

Then you you make these dumb ass comparisons to the office trying to make a point with apple n oranges. Breh let me help you out if "the office" made one for a Spanish market you would have a point.
