The last half of the final season needs a new thread.

why the fukk didn't they just realease all 16 at the same time? fukk is this bullshyt?

They only had 8 written/filmed. If they wrote/filmed all 16 at once we would've had to wait from October 2011 (when season 4 ended) until (at the earliest) spring 2013.

This show has the longest lead time in TV. Lead time is how long it takes them to map out the story before they actually start writing the scripts. Seasons 1-4 each ep took about 2 weeks, season 5 started creeping into 3 weeks per ep, and these last 8 eps are damn near taking a month each.
