I think that's one of the weaker episodes of season two tbh.

I watched the series for the first time 2 years ago (I had seen some of the 4th season when it was on TV), so I was prepared for season 2. There were plenty of enjoyable moments that season, and it works as a part of the whole. If that one season was the entirety of the series I could understand not liking it.

It was essential in showing how the drug trade was an economic problem rather than a racial problem, and displayed how it bled into different communities.

and it was essential that i fast forwarded most of the parts through season 2. i only watched when the black folks came on screen

:dead: at skipping the pilot to any heavily serialized, character driven tv show.
Because a dude can't understand any character development by reading a summary and viewing the ensuing episodes. :rudy::

reading about it and watching it are two completely different experiences, and that's underestimating just how important the actors performances are to the show. Walt's life was complete and utter shyt in that pilot episode. Seeing how pathetic Walt's life was and how genuinely good of a guy he is makes his transformation that much more jarring.

Where did all the idiots come from?

The Wire is overrated?
Episodes of Breaking Bad are skippable?

Basically....

It seems like the people who say this shyt are expecting explosions, sex scenes, and regular gun fights. They got no concept of drama or suspense.

It really. AND I MEAN REALLY isn't that serious. It's a TV show :heh:

nikkas psychoanalyzing the characters and shyt...like its so complex that missing 20-30 minutes of an episode renders everything else impossible to understand.

Do you idiots realize that once upon a time...before netflix and internet streaming nikkas would miss episodes of TV all the time? But they couldnt enjoy the show by reading a summary or review? :what:
fukk outta here you spoiled ass nikkas
