Yes people twist the Bible to make other people believe what they want them to believe.

What God said is always true. That's why you read the Bible for yourself and understand it for yourself. I'll tell anybody to read it for themselves. It's not meant for me or anybody else to explain everything about the Bible to anyone. Everybody has to understand it for themselves. It helps to listen to other people who do have a deeper and better understanding and are more mature in their faith though. You choose what you believe, that's always the option.
