The US military lives its own life, the war on terrorism is a global and long-term strategy.
People need to stop thinking that Obama, Trump or Biden were sitting planning all these strikes, they are basically like the police or feds. Just cause you change president doesn't mean that the feds don't know what to do until the president tells them what to do. The only thing they do is sign whatever their cabinet tells them to sign when they ask "should we take out this high value terrorist".
