Unless it's a peer to peer crypto transaction, it's not that easy to move 12K FIAT digitally.
I could be wrong, but the limits for sending money via PayPal, CashApp, Zelle etc are a lot lower than 12K

You call the bank ahead of time and tell them what type of withdrawal needs to be done. Plus handing a note to a teller will spook the shyt out of them.. But at the same time with his success he should have $20-50K cash in a safe deposit box at the crib for emergencies.
