I totally understand that but if the vaccines work as they're said to, wouldn't that mean the immunocompromised then has almost a ZERO chance at hospitalization or death? If you're trying to say that if everyone was vaccinated we wouldn't have to worry about it then idk what to tell you about this new strain coming from Africa because they can barely even get vaccines over there, so it kinda destroys your hope/logic...and didn't Delta come from Europe somewhere? You're now saying that all European countries should have had 100% vaccinations. You're fighting a losing battle

So my wife is a nurse. She does rehab and palliative care. She currently has a 35 year old patient who caught covid in March 2020. Last summer she started getting really winded. Basically she can't go to the washroom without losing her breath. She caught it almost 2 years ago. 35... Play games, win prizes.

This is what idiots don't realize. They just look at it like "i'm not gonna die" and think its either, die of covid or live with zero problems if you catch it.

I can't answer that question and neither can anybody else. Well shyt, if Delta came from India that's even worse because that's the most populated place in the world so you know there's no chance of 100% vaccinated status. The vaccine doesn't prevent transmission and since the vaccinated are the ones at all of these events and public venues in blue states and are likely the ones not wearing masks because they feel safe after 'taking the shot', they are the ones that are likely spreading the virus.
