If the Cavs had only drafted Oladipo then he would never have those games were he routinely goes 3-11 w/ 5 TOs in loss. I mean, he'd be playing with Kyrie Irving! And remember kids, the mock drafts actually said Oladipo was worth the #1 pick. You can never go wrong following mock drafts. F*cking idiot Chris Grant!!

If the Cavs had only drafted Harrison Barnes instead of Waiters... oh wait... that was last year's version of Barnes.

I mean if the Cavs had just drafted Robinson -- you know the Thomas Robinson that went to Kansas. Ahh shucks, he was never any good so people don't mention him.

No I got it: if the Cavs had just drafted the PER King Andre Drummond then they would be MUCH better than they are now. Like Detroit Pistons better. Well maybe not much better, kids, but at least the coli would be saying their further is bright even though they would still be losing games.

Hey, beggers can't be choosers. Better to be liked than to win. That's the coli mantra.

To be fair... had the Cavs picked Oladipo instead of Anthony Bennett this season, the Cavs would be better from a defensive standpoint. Regardless of who they chose to start at the 2, Waiters or Oladipo, with Oladipo on the team he would be able to defend PGs a lot better than Kyrie. So when they would be on the floor together, that's 1 positive I see from that.

Also, had they taken Oladipo, they wouldn't be running him at the point as much as Orlando is doing now. I've been following him all year, and a lot of his TOs come from him simply not being comfortable running that position.

you guys are arguing about why the cavs suck. :heh:

they suck because A: Its Ohio and nobody wants to play there.

and because B: lebron doesnt play there anymore. and they will continue to suck. until the next lebron comes along.

exactly just having a defender like Ola improves the team just as the shooting of Klay Thompson or potential of Andre Drummond would make the teams future brighter.

Oladipos defense is so good he can hide Kyries weaknesses and let him rest up for defense. And Oladipo doesn't need the ball to chuck up bricks like Waiters.

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
@Eye Cue 182

Kyrie is to blame as well, but you basically just excuse the shytty drafting that got Chris Grant fired. Don't sit here and act like every pick they made after drafting Kyrie wasn't some off the wall choice that nobody saw coming. This dude got fired not because of Kyrie, but because of his awful picks that have made no sense and were all reaches and the terrible roster he assembled.

He takes Tristan Thompson, but wants Klay Thompson, couldn't get another first round pick to draft Klay. Explain why they overvalued a PF like Thompson that you can find in almost every draft over Klay, who they actively tried to get another first rounder for?

He takes Dion Waiters over Drummond, later trades for a center in the same draft only to sign Bynum to a deal later on. You've told me they didn't need a center with Varejao there, yet their moves say otherwise.

He takes Anthony Bennett a PF, even though they already have one.

Every player he's drafted after Kyrie, you can point to someone that was a position of need that they should have taken that would have given them a brighter future. You have used every excuse in the book for them not taking Drummond, what about not taking Klay Thompson, what is the excuse there when they actually did want him? T. Thompson has almost no impact on the game, defensively he's not a presence at all and offensively he's bad enough that the Cavs drafted a PF 2 years later in hopes they could get some scoring from the PF spot.

All those draft picks just never became anything that good. A segment of the front office pushed Grant hard to make a run at James Harden before last season, using a combination of picks and any Cavalier other than Irving. Grant resisted, and he has generally been known around the league as a difficult sort with whom to deal. Executives on other teams lament that Grant overvalues his own players to the point of paralysis, and that could have prevented the Cavs from throwing their hat in the Harden ring.

It's even worse than we thought.

Have two number one picks and two number four picks in the last couple seasons and still be trash brehs

To be fair they were a little unlucky in that they got those picks in some of the worst drafts ever with that said he still shyt the bed on them
