I'm rewatching the game now
The refs were blatantly in CLE favor. That actually helped slow the game and even led to momentum shifts
Anything as possible after the super bowl
I knew last year's super bowl wasn't going to be shyt as soon as I saw the matchup. Not only was it the MAGA bowl but the Pats were going to be up against a team built for them to destroy. The blueprint for beating the Pats in a playoff game has been known since 2007 so I aready knew what time it was with that. And I definitely didn't watch.
Speaking of blueprints for beating pseudo-dominant teams, the Warriors' blueprint was discovered by LeBron and co. two Finals ago, yet here we are with the Cavs trying to play Warrior ball for two games, and then in Game 3 going back to kickouts for corner threes by suspect shooters in the final minutes. And if that wasn't bad enough, it was after LeBron and Kyrie reminded themselves that they are the dominant scoring duo in this matchup.
Were the refs in the home team's favor? i would say yes by a margin of 60/40. But basketball is entertainment, plus a foul could be called on almost every play so its a game of politics, plus LeBron and Kyrie's playsyle should get you more calls.
The fact that it took this long to slow the game down is ridiculous. If Im LeBron I'm bullying the refs for the rest of the series. On some politically-im-the-king type shyt so bow down.
