Now the shooter is a "good kid" from a "good family" who was somehow "radicalized" (allegedly by his brief time at random colleges in conservative-as-hell Utah). And he deserves compassion and a chance to become a good Christian or whatever.

When white people commit crimes, it is never their fault, they are always given the benefit of the doubt, and no matter how horrific their crime, people are able to look past that and highlight their humanity.

When non-white people commit crimes, it is because they are subhuman savages, and their crimes are evidence that everyone of their race deserves to be imprisoned or deported or ethnically cleansed or killed.
