Mexicans have INSANE variety of food options and the street food culture there is strong. America does have a street food culture, particularly with people who own food trucks, but it's not comparable to countries like Mexico, China, Korea, Thailand, Nigeria, etc.

American street food culture is just some lazy gimmick fusions.

Steak tacos topped with Mac and Cheese or some ramen burgers.
