Cancer is much more difficult to treat than a specific virus.

There’s so many different types of cancer and so many things that might be effective at reducing one type of cancer while having no effect on another type of cancer.

Doctors have damn near given up, because cancer, depending on where it starts, is really a host of different terminal diseases.

They’ve got to kill your healthy cells to kill cancer cells because of its insidious and adaptable nature.

But if they do find a way to cure cancer instead of just treating it, that would be one of humanity’s greatest achievements.
