Exactly you proved my point.
1. Biden won in 2020 because trump fumbled the pandemic response, not because of a strong democrat agenda. This is why they should have been preparing another candidate maybe even Kamala by mid-terms instead of sitting on their hands the entire time.
2. Hilary lost in 2016 because she was arrogant and didn’t believe she needed to campaign in key swing states. So trumps first term was a result of democrat incompetence, not republican strength.
People didn’t feel they needed to “give trump another chance” in 2024. You’re forgetting the last time we heard of trump he fumbled the pandemic and he started an insurrection. He left office a disgraced politician. Even some republicans turned on him. The democrats performed so terribly that people voted for trump or stayed home out of spite.
The key factors you named such as aligning America with right-wing extremist Israel so they could commit a racist genocide, out of control inflation and failing economy (and high they denied), allowing donors to pick Kamala instead of having a primary, Biden refusing to step down until donors pulled his funding are all reasons trump won in 2024. Biden even pardoned his son for any crime he committed over a 10 year span after saying for years that he wouldn’t, which turned away a lot of voters.
Stop blaming America and hold your party accountable.
How is your point proven?
1. Biden had a whole platform. All that shyt ultimately doesn't matter when two things resonate with people: how they feel regardless of truth and how their pocket is doing. Yes, another candidate should have been prepped. I think their calculus was that Trump would get locked up and that Biden would just shoot for another term with everyone rallying behind him. That was wrong.
2. That and she is a woman. Do not let that shyt slide like it isn't a major sticking point. Add that Trump ran as anti-establishment. If you recall, the first black president just left office and guess what white racists love? A great white hope.
3. Nah, B, they gave him another chance. He fukked everything up and 4 years later it's like the nation forgot that and trying to overthrow the government. This country has no political memory. To say otherwise is to lie. WE are on the coli talking about politics. Most of America is not thinking this deep about it. Feelings over facts for them, unless that fact happens to be their wallet, so they re-elected him. Guess they forgot a ton of our inflation was due to Trumps response. Ask the fukking farmers who forgot who he was.
4.The genocide is a valid point, inflation was LOWERING but Americans are dumb(more on that in a minute), and the economy was not failing, it was just wildly unequal, Won't argue over the lack of primary, and Biden not stepping down was a valid point. No, the pardon was not a big deal, and shedding a few voters (wild saying that when the margins were as close as they were but lemme cook) was not a big deal.
The main thing was the "recovery" was too slow. We were coming off of record inflation by a President who steered things the wrong way. For why I say Americans are dumb, Inflation was lower than all other nations BUT lower inflation =/= past pricing. By that I mean if people found baby food at $7 that used to be $4, no amount of lowering inflation would take it back to $4, it just wouldn't slide all the way up $.25 every couple of months until it is $9 for the same weight. Inflation was already baked into everything in a way that you can't explain that to the American public.
Biden had the CHIPs act, infrastructure bill, and the proposed Build Back Better act that would have been HUGE for short and long term, heavier on the long term, in addressing infrastructure, jobs, and local initiatives. BBB got killed cause of a traitor ass Dem in Manchin and became the neutered Inflation Reduction Act. Long story short, there was a lot to be optimistic about in the coming years but its hard to explain that vs just saying "I will bring back jobs like you've never seen before" and give no information.
You keep sticking up for Americans when you look at voting rates by state AND education, we know why the fukk he is in. This man was ranting about pets. Stop making excuses for a dumb collective voting populace.
Also, I'm independent

we don't have to sign up for a party in Illinois and I know that my ideal candidate won't win national office, though local I vote differently. Therefore, I don't throw my brain in the trash talmbout bothsides. Who offers better? Not Republicans.
