While Dems should have held out, the alternative (the votes arent in yet to open the government, they are going for a continuing resolution so a lot can happen) is that they get things back open and stay on TV telling people what is going to happen, Trump stopping snap, Republicans truly showing they were willing to let everything go to hell…they need to do that in unison. Enough damage has been sone that America is in a position to listen. If they don’t go all the way, the leadership is intentionally handcuffing the party.

This is where the AOCs, Crocketts, and Bernie Sanders types have to be given the ball. Dems have one shot here.

That is why you focus on making as much money as you can, being financially independent/mobile and/or getting the fukk out of the U.S. because hoping people are going to wake up and not screw themselves over is a losing proposition. These are not serious people that people have been crying about, not to be depended on.

You can not even guarantee the people that were hurt by all of this will even remember by the time the elections come around, or even care enough to vote. Pointless to worry about them if they do not worry about themselves.
