Arguement holds no merit.

Let's frame it in another light....

Who cares what Sydney portier says about racism? Surely Muhammad Ali 's opinion is irrelevant to the black struggle? Who fukking cares what harry belafonte says about oppression, ain't he just a musician?

These three men disprove the weakness of of y'all's arguments. Entertainers are still more than capable of making an impact. Using another example of a musician, did you know that the person who often funded Frontline activists like Dr king was belafonte? Towards the end of the struggle Sammy Davis did the same thing and actually brought awareness to his white fans from the rat pack. I mean for God sake, Makeba was only a musician but was still able to give a speech to United Nations general assembly in support of black south Africans during apartheid.

So khaled has more than enough resources to do the same . There are millions of his own fans who don't even know of his Palestinian ethnicity, who would gain greater awareness if he speaks. This single man could single handedly double the amount of aid trucks coming from the Egyptian side of Gaza.

There is now peace in the Middle East, oh wait that was in 2021…nvm.

Look at it like this, yes celebrities using their platform can raise awareness in ways most cannot. However, trying to call out a specific person to speak out about a specific situation never makes sense to me. You don’t know what they’ll say or how well they’ll say it.

As soon as they say something you don't like, it's shut up and dribble

I getvwhat you're saying and agree that celebrities can make a difference. Thing is, Khaled is nowhere near a Harry belefonte or Ali :russ:

He's never presented himself as a voice for Palestinians, so it makes no sense to single him out when we all know he isn't gonna be able to articulate anything worth adding to the discussion

Just because he cause say something doesn't mean he should. Cause he'd just be in the way more than anything.

Like kanye tryna speak for us. Some folks do you a favor when they stfu :manny:

Expect a man who has spent his entire career promoting himself only to talk about anything other than himself pro-Palestine brehs

Miami :flabbynsick: heads know that this dude used to be on the radio screaming Arab Attack! and Palestinian Rebel until 9-11 put an end to that.
