This is why I don't buy into whole did you have a top 5 offense or defense. That doesn't always translate into leadership and communication. Sean McVay didn't have a top 5 offense in Washington. Matt Lefleur didn't have a top 5 defense in Tennessee. I don't think Mike Tomlin or Vrabel had top notch defenses as DC either. Can you build a staff? Can you relate to players? Can you communicate effectively? Can you anchor a system around the current personnel and not just be a copy and paste coach (Adam Gase, Matt Nagy)
