Heats will be alright. Dwight still is eh on offense. biggest advantage the Nets will have is :dwillhuh: . as much i hate Wade, i would still take him over Joe Jack 'Em Up. and LeBron is... fukkin' LeBron.

DWill
Joe Johnson
G Wallace
Teletovic
Dwight

vs.

Chalmers
Wade
Lebron
Battier
Bosh

Thats a very physical, and well constructed team Nets team. Nets would have a better backcourt and front court. Only edge Miami would have is having the best player in the game.

I'll take love over both of them. He's leaving minny anyway and if he doesn't get flipped for Horford, we have to move in and make something happen.

And i meant Deng/Noah

love on some 100 type shyt is damn near mandated to go to the Lakers. :takedat:

300 murders a year
if you hold on to Booz he will become an expiring and you have to attempt to not outright look like you are tanking :heh:

theres no way to not look like you are tanking at this point. if they were going to tank you clean house. and this draft with all this potential was the best draft to do that in.

all them dudes is expiring in 2 seasons so that case can be made for all them.

truthfully im good with the plan of not rebuilding, but get proactive and get some guards in here to help the weaknesses on the bulls so rose aint trying to carry a team on a knee he dont even trust yet.

they'd be hesitant to trade Derrick Williams for Deng. Chicago's simply an awful trade partner for a trade that would never happen. They're in no rush to trade a guy they just signed to an extension. Give up already.

TRE. Why didn't ya'll give one of your middle first rd picks up for Brooks?

it's being mulled over, but if they wanted Brooks they woulda just drafted him a year ago.

They've got other things in mind for SG/SF

This is just stubbornness (not Minny perhaps, but in general).

It's understandable for why a lot of teams passed on Brooks coming out. He wasn't a lock to be worth a damn. So yeah, you get a pass for passing on him then, but after a good rookie season minus some nagging injuries, I think GMs/teams should have been able to see that the guy can play.

The Bulls also passed on him last year, so it's not surprising at all that they didn't do shyt now. But as a NBA fan and basketball fan I don't understand what some of these teams (especially the ones that need a 2 guard) are doing by not looking into picking up Brooks.

The Clippers had a glaring hole at the 2 and they addressed it some by making this move. I guess common sense isn't always common in the NBA.

Well they only really passed on Brooks because the owner needed the cash to fire Kurt Rambis. That led to us doing that and then go after Adelman.

I think they know he can play, but for Minny, they're looking for more established talent at SG. They already signed Roy, they're going after Shved, they're looking into Courtney Lee, Lou Williams, O.J. Mayo, also obviously looking at SF options like Batum (who would wind up a SG if Derrick stays). It's really just a philosophical thing with Adelman.

I would look at closing lineups in the last 6 minutes of a game.

You would have

Wade - Williams
Jesus - Iso Joe
Battier? - Wallace
Lebron - ?????? Brand?? Tet???
Bosh - Howard

Miami would spred the floor and dwight would be forced to guard 20 feet from the basket and miami would have rim runs essentially. If howard cheated you have bosh for open 15 footers or jesus and tire head spotted up in the corners.
