He ended up there cause he was blinded by the $$$. He met Jho Low on the party scene and when Jho found out he was part of the Obama campaign he offered to pay him $20 million (over 9 months) to get a picture with Obama and it went from there.
Essentially what happened is Jho Low is a social grifter. A friend of his from school was the stepson of a Malaysian prime minister or king or whatever the call it. He got close to him and convinced him to allow him to administer a $4 billion foreign domestic investment fund called 1mdb. Jho then stole all of the money. Jho then started blowing a lot of it in Hollywood partying. He was being investigated by a lot of countries including the U.S. So he started paying ppl through these Hollywood party connections to try to gain influence in U.S. politics to stop them from investigating him. That’s where Pras came in as he played a role in the Obama campaign and it went from there.
