America has changed for the worst. No wonder why other countries dont fukk with us

If only people could have seen Trump for who he truly is.

Or.

Maybe tens of millions of fellow citizens could have been telling anyone who would listen not to vote for Trump.

Oh wait.

yep, other receptive states could arrest the FBI agents and thats supposed to be the check on these things.
If Trump allowing stupid shyt enables the actual seperation of powers into the state and fed make a comeback just to spite him, thats about the only good thing I can see happening this admin.

The Texas governor was doing the right thing by working with the legislature to get them removed from their seats for this stunt, and then the legislature would just have to change the rule or law and punish those for doing this shyt.

Filibusters are one thing, and I respect that, at least they are at work, but leaving is beyond childish and is just failure to do your job.

they're just doing what republicans have done.

The most prominent incidents since 2020 where non-Texas Republican state legislators staged walkouts or quorum-breaking absences—similar to Texas Democrats—have occurred in Oregon:
  • Oregon, 2023: Ten Republican state senators staged a six-week walkout—the longest in Oregon's history—over bills covering abortion access, transgender health care, and gun rights. This paralyzed the legislative session, stalling hundreds of bills. As a result, the Oregon Supreme Court barred these senators from running for reelection, upholding a state constitutional amendment targeting repeated unexcused absences.ballotpedia+3
  • Oregon, 2021: All 11 Republican state senators walked out to protest COVID-19 policies, demanding broader school reopenings and increased rural vaccine availability. Their absence stopped legislative business before they returned several days later.ballotpedia
  • Oregon, 2019 & 2020: Previous walkouts by Republicans protested climate-change legislation and other Democratic bills, each time denying quorum and blocking action on prioritized Democratic measures. These walkouts received national attention and set a pattern later repeated in 2023.opb+1
These incidents represent the highest-profile cases of post-2020 Republican walkouts outside Texas. Walkouts by legislative minorities to block quorum have a longer history, but recent repeated use by Oregon Republicans is unique for its scale, duration, and legal consequences.opb+1

When we say things like "I would vote for my least favorite HS teacher" over Trump.. is it starting to make sense now.

Of course you can do all the deep dives you want about the Dems, to even consider Trump as an option is the fault of retarded voters by the tens of millions. And I still think Trump and Elon rigged the election.

the MAGA scum who are obsessed with trump are retarded. but millions of people said "yeah, trump is a huge fakkit, but the economy was simply better before covid, and biden/kamala are fukking trash. so i'm gonna give him a shot with the economy, and ignore his bullshyt". you don't have to like trump or hate kamala to have voted for trump in '24; dems cannot approach elections that way

and the Dems can get those swing voters back, because trump is not gonna deliver anything like he promised those people. and no, Elon did not rig the election; she just lost. with everything we know about this country, tell me you don't need a conspiracy to accept that donald trump beat kamala harris :comeon:
