Using federal agencies to exact revenge on political opponents is something that should frighten every American as it is behavior that occurs in authoritarian regimes.

The only thing stopping Trump from kidnapping and executing his critics like they do in other authoritarian countries is due process and general American ethics. But at this point, who’s to say that won’t go out the window?
