I been a hip hop listener since 88....I have heard ALOT of rappers....especially in the last 10 years with all these soundcloud lames. I can say whole heartedly that Maino is the worst I have ever heard...period.

Gully is really trying to ruin the only thing Maino has going for him in the rap game, that street allure. I personally never thought Maino put on for real like that just off of how he talked and acted in front of cameras, seemingly I was correct with my judgement. Not all street dudes are cowboys with it, or even warriors like that, they're just nondescript street dudes who be around.

He let Wack100 talk to him crazy and tried his best to back down twice before he had no choice but to stand up for himself, lol. He let 50 just flat out back him down. Now this. He should either do an interview rebutting and giving his explanation on things that are being said, or he has to throw the hands with Gully. Either way I think he's gonna take the L, lol, but he gotta do something.

He got sent to Rikers 17 for the kidnapping, I think he 18 when he went to prison. All this was early 90s nyc shyt. 91-92.

But he was in and out the juvenile system prior to that as well.

A big issue I have with alot of dudes on the internet is that they speak on NY street shyt like they in tune but all they know about is what they read in some magazines like Don Diva and some dvds. There's dudes on here from Europe who gets in threads swearing Alpo the toughest gangsta that ever walked NY.

Not for nothing but all you gotta do to get a kidnap charge is hold someone against their will...

Example, I was 17 when I went up and one of best friends was 16 when he went up 5 months before me, him and his 15-year old co-d had kidnapping charges for tying up and beating a dude. 15 year old got 5-7, my homeboy got 6-8. Point I'm making is neither one of them were in the field like that, 15-year old had no rep at all in the streets or the jails when he did his bid, not a hoe but he just was never in nothing, did his 5 years, got out on his minimum and I've never heard nothing else about him. May have turned up as an adult but I never seen him since...

My boy had no street rep, people who went to high school with him said he was a fighter and was always throwing down with people at school but he wasn't known for dealing, stickups, shootings, nothing. They just had a kid they went to school with owed them money and they beat on him....now my boy, went to jail and he was an animal inside, he was built for prison. On his 7-year bid he lost two fights to nikkas who were known head busters, but he was a known head buster, and beat up mad nikkas, used to rob nikkas commissary, got busy in a gang riot, etc. He was with the shyts inside...

Got out after 7 and eventually started robbing cats with a stick up crew, got caught up in a body and is currently doing a 6.5-9 on an accessory charge...

My point I'm illustrating is plenty of dudes catch charges young and wasn't that active with it. And also that some dudes aren't active outside but are completely turnt, and vice versa...

What I will say about Maino, is I heard about him in '08 while I was up and he was inspiration for alot of us in prison because he came from prison and made it in rap. And I moved to NY a year and a half after I got out and I've always been told Maino was legit, so I defer to those from NY who would know more about his background. I never felt like he was this invincible dude with no L's, but people always said he was solid. My only point is dudes go up at all ages all the time and they not really from the field like that, but I don't think that applies to Maino...

Also, he us a trash rapper, not the worst I've ever heard but he's bad lol...
