The AP and Media was foul last night. They should of at least waited till after California. Bernie just doesn't have the delegates, hoping the Supers switch isn't going to happen because Hillary has the popular vote and pledge vote lead. So Bernie can't win because the Establishment Democrats are basically ending his campaign. The reason is they are doing this now is because they smell blood in the water with Trump collapsing politically so they want Obama, Hillary and Bill all to be on the campaign trail attacking him.

Also they are tired of Bernie going in on Hillary and giving Trump and Republicans ammo. Sorry Bernie, it's done but there is no way I'm going to cosign what the media did last night. It was clear they were trying to change today's outcome. What Bernie should do now is try and get on the administration so he can get something out of this. There's no way someone gets 10 Million votes and you just push them to the side. Hillary needs to find something for him. I don't think he will be Vice though.
I don't think he wants a job with them. He said that he just want the middle and lower class to be featured in the Democratic platform. I can see Bernie giving speaking at colleges and doing activism.

The way Bernie went out was disgusting.

Honestly even Ted Cruz went out better and that's saying a lot. When Cruz saw the path was closed he bowed out. Bernie is kicking and screaming. He was against the superdelegates until he was mathematically eliminated from getting the required number of pledged delegates then his campaign shifted and they're on the phone trying to switch over superdelegates.

The elections were held and the voters spoke. More of them for whatever reason picked Clinton. I can't believe he would then try to use superdelegates to overturn the people's will.

Not-so-encouraging news out of the Bernie Sanders camp: "Two people close to the campaign" told The New York Times half the candidate's staff will be let go Wednesday:

Many of those being laid off are advance staff members who often help with campaign logistics, as well as field staff members who have been working to garner votes for the senator, according to a campaign official and a former campaign staff member, both of whom spoke on condition of anonymity. Some campaign workers may move into jobs at Mr. Sanders’s Senate office, but others will be terminated, they said.

This is just one report, citing anonymous sources. That doesn't mean it's wrong or right—only time will tell. But these sorts of stories, even if they don't bear out, can be damaging to a campaign. They can show signs of internal weakness and strife, or spook supporters into switching their allegiances.

Wherever nikkas need to be told on
Then why did Bernie participate in the primary when he could of just campaigned for the general the whole time :mindblown:
We have this crazy two-party system where if you don't win either party's nomination your chances of getting elected are diminished significantly so you pretty much have to try and win the Republican or Democratic ticket :mindblown:

All independents vote in primaries :jbhmm:
All independents are not the same though...there is not this large block of Indies who are champing at the bit to vote for Bernie because they are just as far to the left on things as he is.
Independent voters are made up of varying degrees of liberals and conservatives who aren't really caring about these elections until the general starts and end up voting for the Dem or Repub candidate in presidential elections. So while the more progressive leaning independents would go to Bernie if he ran as an (I) in November they don't make up the totality of the independent voter group. Clinton and Trump would get a decent share of that pool of voters too.

Even if he told them to fall in line that doesn't guarantee anything. There's a legitimate dislike for Clinton and even Bernie can't sway that back. This includes a sizeable percentage of Dems and a large majority of Independents. Bernie just happened to be in the right place with the right message to gain traction off of that. I congratulate him on making social democratic ideas more palatable to the general public but his job isn't to rally the troops to Hillary it's to rally the down ticket to get better representation into office.
