But will they learn from it?

Idk about your politics, but the idea of political discourse and debate doesn’t mean much to me. You can’t argue with someone who doesn’t have facts/empirical data.

I want a tax on assets over $10 at 99%. I want religious organizations to start paying a tax.

Wisconsin, like everywhere else in the country, falls victim to the "oh it's not the presidential election so who cares" fallacy.

Walker won in 2010 during the midterms with 1.1 million votes (the democratic challenger received 1mil)
Walker won his recall election in June 2012 with 1.3million votes (the democratic challenger received 1.1)
OBAMA WON WISCONSIN IN NOV 2012 WITH 1.6MILLION VOTES (Mitt Romney received 1.4)

DEMOCRATIC VOTERS ARE ALWAYS TO BLAME FOR THE BULK OF THEIR shytTY ELECTION LOSES.

That's true here for certain elections - like say, the Milwaukee County Sheriff's election, which is partially why David Clarke was repeatedly elected. But, not completely the case for Walker.

Unfortunately, the state Democratic Party is pretty incompetent. They pushed two fairly weak candidates against Walker and did a piss poor job of explaining to the public why he should have been recalled. They really fukked that one up - definitely not a case of voter apathy. Not to mention Walker got a shyt ton of dark money and had the major media outlets in his back pocket in each of his elections.

Didn't want to derail, but add some context. Also, fukk Paul Ryan.

Show me the receipts
Every seat is up for grabs in the House. So far in most of the special elections and state/city elections, Democrats have won and pulled upsets in places they were not the favorite in. They clearly have the momentum heading into the mid-terms and the more this Mueller investigation gets worse, the better it gets for Democrats heading into the mid-terms. Not sure what there is to challenge.

Paul Ryan is a hypocrite who’s been on the public dole his entire life (dad’s SS checks, federal student tuition aid, congressional aide, congressman).
Now he’s about to earn his first non-taxpayer funded paychecks (as a DC corporate lobbyist).
He’s not going back to Wisconsin, that’s for sure.
He epitomizes the republican/conservative mindset: I got mine so fukk you and yours.
