Everett and Jones is MAD overrated when you been to some real BBQ joints in texas/memphis/st Louis.

Someone tried to put me on to CJs off Macdonald in Richmond, but that wasn't great either.

However, if you ever want some good soul food, GOTTA hit up Mississippi Catfish in Richmond, next to a Smog Station (San Pablo Ave). By FAR the best food I had while in the Bay.

E&J was noticably better before they opened up the Jack London location...and the one in Hayward was better than the JL one IMO too.

There used to be a spot on the outside of Eastmont that was good too but I can't remember the name.... one of the cats I ran with was related to the owner somehow.

I'm not too picky and eater sohh it's easier to call out where I haven't liked something..




But I'm and haven't lived in the Bay for a long time sohh I'd trust the folks still out there....
