There is no “the way you leave” for fans at these big time schools. They don’t believe you leave Texas to go somewhere better, they believe you coach at Texas until they decide they don’t want you anymore.
Big recruits are usually tied to the coach, not the school. That’s nothing new. These punk ass fans wanted him to wait so they could get them kids locked into Oklahoma before he left. fukk that. And why wouldn’t he take his staff? Oklahoma don’t own these folks.

Riley is a great hire for USC and will have them contending sooner than later. And its going to be easier for him to win there then in the SEC with Oklahoma. We would be fools to think that didn't play a part in his decision

LR lucked out to get Baker and Kyler. 2 guys that transferred from air raid systems. Baker came to play for Heupel and ended up with Riley. Riley hadnt even proven himself when Kyler came the next yr.

We lose recruits to Bama. We've lost our past 2, #1 rated, running back recruits 2 yrs in a row on last min flips to Bama. Program changing players for us. Left us with no future at RB next yr. That's possibly MORE important than the coach. With LR, It's moreso about the LYING and HOW he's leaving that is shady.

Lincoln Riley won one Bowl game in 5 years at Oklahoma and the press is trying to make this out to be a world shattering move that is one of the biggest moves in college history 
When does he have to win a championship? Like it’s year 5 they been to 2 college football playoffs and got destroyed by Bama or Ohio State twice is that ok?

Man please. Dabo literally overpays all of his assistant coaches so that money was never the reason they left for bad low level jobs. It's always been know that "when" they leave It's for the right jobs...not just bc. I call it the Chad Morris theory.
Chad legit came to Clemson with a foot out the door. He was applying for and interviewing for jobs as soon as he got here. So Dabo realized that he'd always have a succession plan in place and a list of coaches he builds relationships with that he can call.
Brent could have left last year for the K St job as that was his Alma mater for 35mil guaranteed (or Kansas before that) and he's from Kansas but he stayed.
If OK offers 60mil ... I'll pack his bags for him bc he'd be a fool to turn it down as it would take him 30 yrs to get that is he stayed at Clemson. Only way I can see him staying is if he's like Bud Foster and just doesn't want the Head Coach head ache.

It's OK. Us OU heads are circling the wagons. I'm going to New England this Thursday full on in OU gear to support my boy's son and do my part of getting him there. He outplayed that Malachi kid who decommitted years back and for the past three years his father said that kid has no heart after coaching him for a week.

OU will always be fine because its OU. Outside of the probation years and after effects, it's a blue blood program that is always near the top.
