BREAKING: Lincoln Riley leaving OU for USC

I don't know why these coaches don't wait till after the season I mean there's 1 or 2 games left....

I explained this earlier.

He can steal all the recruits this way. If he waited untill after the season, signing day has already happened.

Reports are he knew he was leaving possibly in September. So he's been recruiting for USC on OU's dime almost this entire season. That's a shytty thing to do.

He tanked that gme the other night with his play calling so he can lose and be out the door next day.

The initial downfall from this is going to be massive for OU.

don’t blame Lincoln for going to USC one bit though, if I’m a coach in my 30s and I get offered the USC job meaning I get to spend most of my time in LA and don’t have to travel far to recruit, ain’t no way in hell I’m turning that down.

Jimbo stopped recruiting after the first game of the year in 2017 and pulled all coaches off the trail. Don’t get dirtier than that bruh.

Lincoln was on a lot of P5 schools radar as an OC when y’all scooped him from ECU

I’m sure Bob Stoops was heated, he hand picked Lincoln to take over and Lincoln did something that no other OU HC has done since 1947 and that’s leave for another college job.

In fairness, I think what's getting so many people upset is that from what I understand, Riley had increased his recruiting focus in California, and other Pac-12 states. Easy to see it as him basically recruiting for USC on OU's dime from their perspective.
